A Hewlett Packard LC/MSD G1946 system provides excellent sensitivity and dynamic range for selected analysis. The system utilizes Atmospheric Pressure Ionization (API) technology combined with either an Electrospray Ionization (ESI) or a Heated Nebulizer-APCI ion source inlet. The LC-MSD is interfaced with an Agilent 1100 HPLC system equipped with an in-stream DAD providing high output and precise delivery.
For pesticides scans and solvent residue analysis in accordance with USP methodology, we employ Agilent 7800 Series GC systems coupled with liquid and headspace autosamplers, Flame Ionization Detectors (FID), and Mass Selective Detectors (MSD). An HP 5972 MSD is used for confirmation and routine GC/MS pesticide residue analyses.
Combined with a microwave digestion system, our Agilent 7700 Series ICP-MS provides a high-throughput and ultra-sensitive method of quantifying elements. The collision mode using helium and hydrogen cell gas combined with interference removal by Kinetic Energy Discrimination (KED) enables analysis of complex and variable samples. Using this setup, we are able to offer clients quick turnaround and high value on heavy metals testing and mineral scans.
